Events and Opportunites for MAFP Members
The Missouri Academy strives to keep members abreast of changes in healthcare. These programs/offerings provide physicians the opportunity to earn the required CME while also becoming engaged in their state-wide professional association. Evidence-Based CME is offered to maximize the program quality and credits earned.
2022 Advocacy Day
Be the voice of Missouri Family Physicians by participating in Advocacy Day on February 28 – March 1, 2022. Events will be held both at Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City and virtually through Zoom.
Spring Scientific CME Series
MAFP is holding 4 virtual CME sessions on various topics, February-May, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Topics include Neurology, Geriatrics, Cancer, and Musculoskeletal from a variety of speakers. Member registration is $25 per session or $75 for all four sessions.
This meeting, held in November, is the largest Missouri Academy gathering of primary care physicians and exhibitors in a more relaxed and informal atmosphere for learning. The Board of Directors and other commissions meet during this conference as well. An exhibit area features companies offering pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products and services for the medical community.
