 Resident/Student Poster Contest at 2013 Annual Scientific Assembly

In 2013, MAFP is offering exciting opportunities for students and residents at the Annual Scientific Assembly (ASA) in June.  We will provide student/resident members an opportunity to socialize with current family physicians and leaders of the academy in addition to our submitted poster presentations and awards. Join us for fellowship and networking. We look forward to seeing you in June.

The “Mixer” will be held from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., Saturday, June 8th.  Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided.

 

MAFP will assist in funding for costs associated with overnight accommodations on a first-come, first-serve basis for STUDENTS ONLY.  Conference registration is complimentary to both students and residents. Click here to register online.

Student & Resident Board Information

The Missouri Academy of Family Physicians would like to invite residents and students to submit their resumes as application for Alternate Resident Director and Alternate Student Director on the MAFP Board of Directors. This would be a two-year commitment as you would also serve as Resident Director or Student Director in 2014-15.  Elections will be held Friday, August 2, 2013 in Kansas City during the MO Reception. This year, the reception will be held at the Midland Theatre (Lower Lobby), 1228 Main Street, Kansas City, MO, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in conjunction with the National Conference of Family Medicine Students and Residents (NCFMRS).  If you would like your name placed on the ballot for Alternate Resident or Alternate Student Director, please forward your CV/resume to: ngriffin@mo-afp.org by July 15, 2013.
