MAFP President, Arthur G. Freeland, MD

Freeland, MD, of Kirksville, Missouri, was installed as the 61st President of the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) during its annual meeting in Lake Ozark, Missouri, on June 13. Serving as president last year, Michael C. Wulfers, MD, of Cape Girardeau, subsequently became Board Chair of the family medicine group.  Other officers elected for one-year terms were President-elect Keith Ratcliff, MD of Washington and Vice President Todd Shaffer, MD of Lee’s Summit.


Dr. Freeland is currently in private practice with Crown Family Medicine in Kirksville.  He currently resides in Kirksville with his wife, Kelly.  They have three children.  Dr. Freeland has been a dedicated member of the MAFP since 1985.  He also serves as the Alternate Delegate representing MAFP at the American Academy of Family Physicians’ (AAFP) Congress of Delegates.
